Language Services
In Washington DC’s highly diverse communities, where over 125 native languages and dialects are spoken, there is a critical need for interpretation and translation services. MCS's Language Services Program seeks to fill that need by providing interpretation and translation services in 19 languages in the community. Community interpretation provides access to services for residents who may be isolated because of language. Such services can include medical care, social benefits, and participation in their children’s education.
